6/23/2023 0 Comments Obsidian cullInfinity War was packed with Easter eggs and references for fans to pick up on, but it was Cull Obsidian's sash that was a topic of discussion from the home video release after it was believed to be a Captain Marvel tease. I’m strongly suggesting not to rush too far away from your teammates and to defend and control the battlefield where you stand.Cull Obsidian's highly talked about sash in Avengers: Infinity War is an award from a previous fight, but isn't from Captain Marvel. Hopefully, this will trigger a snowball effect and your comrades will clear them out as most people panic when they get in trouble and try to run off without fighting back. However, if you feel you have the advantage, try to push behind your foes and use the Deadly Spiral to give them a nudge towards your team. In case you are being overwhelmed use your ultimate to push the foes back and try to run. If you contemplated that it’s a better option to attack then use your Warlord’s Slash to engage the foe you want to focus and then slow him down with Furious Trample. In case you want to give your team some space to let them finish off the hero that dived in, use your ultimate to push the foes back. When his teammates rush to aid him, you start what you are doing best – controlling the battlefield. The first hero that dives in gets a ticket right into your team, as you will hurl him back using your Scythe Swing. You don’t engage your foes as there is no returning and running away in case the brawl goes badly, you wait for them to engage. This is the part of the game where you want to play defensively again. The only way you can survive is by using your ultimate to push the foes away in case you’ve got it. If you extend too far, and he pays you a visit there is no running away and you’ll probably become a fodder, especially if he is energy-based as you will not have any defense from it early in the game. However, try to be aware of the whereabouts of the enemy jungler. That early advantage is important, and if you manage to serve your opponents back at your marksman to finish them off you could start an avalanche and win the game quickly. You want to be as aggressive as you can, trying to hook onto enemies’ marksman and swing him behind where he will be welcomed by your marksman and the rest of your offensive arsenal. At the bottom lane, with the marksman as your support, the situation is much different. That’s the only way you can handle most laning opponents, as the Cull Obsidian isn’t doing well at handling any 1 on 1 fights. At the top lane, you should try to stay near your tower and try to swing at the enemy in its range using the Scythe Swing, while slowing him with Furious Trample and stunning him with Warlord’s Slash when he tries to run away. You should play as a support in the bottom lane, but in case you have no other tanks/fighters in the team you should take the top. The last one would obviously be Scythe Swing, and you should of course put a point into your ultimate, Deadly Spiral whenever it’s available. The next skill you want to maximize would be a Warlord’s Slash for its sheer damage potential. It also has the lowest cooldown so it’s an easy pick. It’s your main tool for dealing damage, so you need it for the lane clearing. Your first skill of choice should be Furious Trample. Later on, it becomes kind of helpful, but that’s it. But the shield is really low at the start, and the cooldown is long. His natural passive is Power Shield, and it gives you a shield (no way!) when one of your abilities hit the foe. Dull Obsidian.įurious Trample’s Stage 1 delay has been reduced from 1.25 seconds to 1 second.įurious Trample’s Stage 2 damage has been decreased from (8%/8.5%/9%/9.5%/10%*enemy’s max HP) to (6%/6.5%/7%/7.5%/8%*enemy’s max HP) Always charging foes head-on, and that’s why he got killed in the most universes he appeared in. He enjoys ruthless bloodbaths, sheer brutality, and has no brain whatsoever. Anyway, he is one of those guys that’s evil for the sake of it. Can you guess who his brother is? Of course you can’t, they are not twins. He was raised by Thanos, the one who annihilated his home planet and took the little Cull Obsidian and his brother with him. As Ivan Drago would say in Rocky IV: “If he dies, he dies”.Ĭull Obsidian was originally called Black Dwarf, but then the political correctness struck and not even the Marvel universe got spared. In Marvel Super War Cull Obsidian is just like in the comics and movies – a brute that engages foes straightforward without any regard for personal defense and doesn’t have any means of retreat.
